Founded in 2007, the mission of Northern Arizona Playwriting Showcase, or NAPS, is to encourage new plays by novice and seasoned playwrights, to provide acting and directing opportunities for new and experienced dramatists, and to celebrate new works.

Our Community:

Located in the high country mountains of Northern Arizona, Flagstaff is an eclectic town with a rich literary culture. Its vicinity to the Grand Canyon and other natural wonders, in addition to its vibrant historic downtown, make it a natural stop on any tour of the Southwest. The local community enthusiastically supports the arts, the outdoors, and craft beer.
