Lawrence Lenhart

Lawrence Lenhart studied writing at the University of Pittsburgh and holds an MFA from the University of Arizona. He is the author of The Well-Stocked and Gilded Cage (Outpost19), Of No Ground: Small Island/Big Ocean Contingencies (West Virginia University Press), Backvalley Ferrets (University of Georgia Press). He is the co-author, of Experimental Writing (Bloomsbury, 2023). His prose appears in Creative Nonfiction, Fourth Genre, Gulf Coast, Passages North, Prairie Schooner, and elsewhere. He is the Associate Chair of the English Department at Northern Arizona University where he also teaches fiction, nonfiction, and climate science narratives. Lenhart is a founding editor of Carbon Copy and the reviews editor of DIAGRAM.

Linda Sutera, Co-Producer

Linda Sutera is a retired teacher/librarian. She has been involved with Theatrikos Theatre Company since 1983 and has performed in over 30 shows. She has co-directed nine productions for Theatrikos and has worked behind the scenes for many shows throughout the years.  Linda has been involved with NAPS on stage and behind the scens since 2010 and has been co-producer since 2012.

Levi Stallings

Levi Stallings has worked as a journalist, editor, and composition teacher in Northern Arizona for over the last decade. Besides writing and producing local ten minute plays, he has also worked on a range of documentary films.

Ann Cummins, Co-Producer

Ann Cummins is grateful to be a part of community theater in Flagstaff. A founder of the Northern Arizona Playwriting Showcase, she has been reading, teaching, and trying to master the 10-minute play for the last 12 years. She’s contributed short plays to NAPS ‘Fright Night,’ to ‘Writers Unite,’ and has recently tried her hand at directing for NAPS. She’s on the creative writing faculty at NAU where she teaches fiction and playwriting. She’s the author of a story collection, Red Ant House, and a novel, Yellowcake. Her stories have appeared in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, Zyzzyva, Best American Short Stories, and elsewhere.

Michael Rulon

Michael Rulon is a member of the Artistic Committee at Theatrikos (chair, 2019), where he directs, acts, works in the booth, and provides laughter during dress rehearsals. He has also worked for Emerson Theater Collaborative in Sedona and Arizona Adventure Theatre in Flagstaff. By day, he is senior lecturer of French at Northern Arizona University, where he teaches subjects ranging from theatre production in French to French for the science and engineering professions. He is also co-director of the NAU Global Cabaret, which he founded in 2014.

Nichole Katz

Nichole Katz is the proud Artistic Director of Take Flight Repertory Theatre. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in acting from the University of Florida, Nichole spent 15 years as a theatre educator and director in South Florida. As the Director of Theatre for The Meritas Family of Schools, an international network of private schools, and the Artistic Director of The North Broward Preparatory School Department of Theatre, Nichole had the opportunity to share her passion for theatre with students and communities around the globe. She founded the Meritas National Tour Project, an exchange program that introduced professional theatre to schools, providing them with technical support and financial resources, thus elevating their standard of production. She was the proud recipient of the esteemed Francis Clivaz Award, an honor given to The Educator of the Year. Nichole is an accomplished actor and playwright and has directed countless productions, including Into the Woods, The Rimers of Eldritch, The Long Christmas Ride Home, A…My Name Will Always be Alice, The Diviners, Batboy, Runaways, Gypsy, Sky Diamonds, Wanda’s Visit, Good Day and The Clean House. She was thrilled to work Off-Broadway with Miriam Colon in the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre’s production of The Butterfly’s Evil Spell. Nichole proudly served as a member of the Artistic Committee at Theatrikos Theatre Company in Flagstaff. Nichole is a realtor with RE/MAX Peak Properties and her greatest joy is being a mother to her 15-year old daughter, Gabbi Drew. Nichole lives by the philosophy, “If you build it…they will come” and she is always thrilled and honored to be a part of bringing theatre to the Flagstaff community.
